In this 2.5 year investigation into the tragic history of Native American boarding schools in the United States, we collaborated with The National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition to visualize their deeply researched dataset.

I co-led the archival reporting for The New York Times, reviewing hundreds of historical documents, images, newspaper articles, letters and more, in order to weave human stories into the rich dataset of schools.
