For this skin-crawling Halloween special, we partnered with the NYT Kids section and the brilliant biologist, Rob Dunn, to celebrate the invisible life all around us through the magnifying glass of Augmented Reality. Bridging our print, web and app experiences, this story put five hugely magnified creatures in our reader’s space, to inspire awe, curiosity and serious heebie jeebies.

I guided the development, design and production of the digital experience and went on a wild adventure of tracking down 3D scans of microscopic organisms.
